AS Graphs

These data have been collected from October 2001 July 2002.
They are the output of the program Traceroute run from two different hosts
of the LAN of the Physics Department of University of Rome "La Sapienza".
the IP address of the first one is 141.108.2.4; the other one is 151.100.123.1.
The target hosts are read frome the file list address.txt, and passed
to Traceroute by a C program script.c.
We divided the output files in small sections.
Those files are collected in two different directories, one for each host.
Of these two archives, the largest, is the Traceroute output with TTL equal 20
The smallest has TTL equal 30. TTL stays for
Time To Live. It denotes the nuber of hops that Traceroute
tries before interrupting the probe.
The dimension of the compressed output of
Traceroute with TTL 20 (ttl20.tar)
are 49 MB and decompressed are 724MB.
Instead, the dimension of the compressed output of Traceroute
with TTL 30 (ttl30.tar) are 3.9 MB and decompressed are 39 MB.

The line which begins with " 1" concerns the start host, and signs the starting of a new Traceroute probe.
The second field is the IP address. For the others field look at this link, or to the Traceroute man pages.
At every line which begins with " 1" corresponds a new Traceroute
